Trust Senior IT Services Technician

Status: 37 hours per week, all year
Salary: £20,493 with potential progression to £24,491

Inspire Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School and Thomas Rotherham College.

We are looking to recruit a Senior IT Services Technician to provide high quality technical support for staff and learners.  The Senior IT Technician will work proactively and reactively to maintain reliable technical services working hands-on to provide appropriate solutions. All technical staff will contribute proactively to the development and delivery of an outstanding and robust IT Service across the Trust that is solution focused. This post is part of the Trust IT Service and may work at any Trust establishment as required but initially will be based at Thomas Rotherham College.

Candidates will be aspirational and must possess a high level of IT and computing skills and be able to evidence effective problem- solving skills.    Candidates must be prepared to commit to and complete further training. Candidates must evidence experience that suggests suitability to discharge the technical aspects of the role as outlined in the Job Description and Person Specification.
