Science Resource Technician

Status: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time at 192 days including Inset days plus 10 directed days
Salary: Band D+ Actual Salary £21,362 to £22,455 (FTE Salary £23,500 to £24,702) depending on experience

We are looking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified candidate to join an enthusiastic, supportive and successful school as Science Resource Technician.  As a member of the Investigate Learning Zone, the successful candidate will provide technical support for the Science department as part of the school Technician team. Candidates will have the skills required to work as a supportive member of a team and will have as a minimum GCSE A* – C or 9 – 4 in English, Maths and Science and a science qualification at an appropriate level. Candidates must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm to develop support for science and safe working practices. All school staff undertake whole school duties. Candidates will be truly committed to supporting pupils to achieve, have high aspirations for the pupils’ success and will contribute to ongoing planning with imaginative and dynamic ideas.
