Inspire Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School and Thomas Rotherham College.
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking team member with the drive to positively engage with service users, both across the Trust and within the local community. The successful candidate will be a part of a small but supportive team, working across the Trust to deliver and develop LRC services.
You will be joining us at an exciting time of change and development across the service, as our Learning Resource Centres are transitioning to ‘Community Hubs’ which will provide a range of community events and activities, in addition to the library services and activities provided to our staff, pupils and students.
This is not a traditional library role, and may suit someone who is looking for a non-teaching role in education; an interest in creating links with the local community; or someone looking for experience working with young people.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of our service, and the post holder will be expected to support and demonstrate this in every aspect of the role.
All post holders are required to work at their designated level to support the implementation of all school/college policies and procedures to achieve the key objectives of the school/college. The post holder will be a key member of the team in the Academy and will work positively and proactively in respect of library services, community events and projects.
We offer a positive working environment, we care about our pupils and students and we care about our staff, all of whom know that and appreciate that. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of this and work in a way that encourages a positive work environment.
Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 6th May 2022 at 12 noon. Interviews will be held on Friday 13th May 2022. Applicants are required to apply via our online application form which is available on our website at https://www.inspiretrust.uk/inspire-trust-vacancies/.
PLEASE NOTE we operate Safer Recruitment and we do not accept CVs or CV attachments. All candidates must complete our online application form in full.
