Inspire Sports

Inspire Sports is part of Thomas Rotherham College (previously TR Sports), Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School and Winterhill School. We operate the sports facilities during the day, evenings and weekends across all Inspire Learning Trust sites.

Thomas Rotherham College (TRC) has a fitness suite with fully qualified instructors offering you fitness testing and programmes within your membership. We offer a wide variety of exercise classes, tailored to suit all levels of fitness. The health suite provides the opportunity to relax and unwind, featuring both a steam room and sauna. The centre allows the option of pay as you go for your classes and gym sessions, as we are not a member’s only gym.

All Inspire Sports sites offer fitness and sporting activities, rentals to the general public evenings, weekends and to pupils during the daytime hours.

TRC has a full size football 3G pitch which can be divided up into 1/3 of a pitch for 7 a side games. Goal Sizes 11 a side or 9 a side goals.

Oakwood High School has just recently had a new Astro Pitch installed catering for multi sports with full size Hockey and football pitch markings and Separations of 1/3 of a football pitch or half court Hockey Pitch. 11 a side goals, 6 a side goals or hockey goals.

Both sites have a sports hall available for hire offering indoor football, basketball, badminton, volleyball and netball.

Looking to run your own exercise class or looking to join the Inspire sports exercise class family? We have a Dance studio for hire or come and take part in one of our exercise classes.

TRC is open in the evenings and weekends with extended opening hours during College holidays.

Monday – Thursday 4.45pm-9.00pm

Friday 3.00pm-8.00pm

Saturday and Sunday 9.00am-2.00pm

Oakwood High School is open for bookings as follows.

Monday – Friday 6.00pm-10.00pm

Saturday and Sunday 9.00am-5.00pm
