WHO ARE WE?

In September 2023 two Rotherham based multi-academy trusts merged, Inspire Learning Trust and Leaders in Learning, to form Inspire Learning Trust. This marked a significantly positive move for the educational provision in Rotherham and the wider region. This new trust is an exciting addition to the wider educational offer in our area. We are a collaborative of educational institutions, from primary through secondary to post-16 and including specialist provision for students up to 25 years. We have grown out of a strong learning community model; covering learners 3-19. Our journey began a decade or so ago, through the development of a highly effective mixed age learning communities. Colleagues from across the age ranges and educational stages have met regularly since then to share a common ethos, vision and principles and work collaboratively to improve the educational offer and opportunities for children and young people in our communities. With this newly merged trust our aim is to cement and formalise partnerships to ensure that we continue to offer our children and young people the very best educational experiences, therefore improving outcomes and the life chances for children and young people. We will do this through our growth strategy, with the focus on Educational Growth, Partnership Growth and Community Growth.

We are committed to developing a set of shared values through every aspect of our daily work. These values are the development of: Respect, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Resilience, Reflection, Risk taking and Relationships.

Today, we still firmly believe that by working together, supporting and challenging each other, sharing and developing outstanding practice and resources, all children and young people can excel and will receive the best that our education system has to offer. We are forward thinking and innovative; demonstrating successfully our commitment to work in partnership within the local and national context.

Our vision is predicated on an intent for institutions to retain its own Headteacher / Principal, leadership team and local governing body, under an ‘aligned autonomy’ model. Fundamentally, we want to ensure that all areas of the Trust continue to flourish and that each academy continues to provide the best possible learning and care.

This Trust will grow and develop from a position of strength. We are building firm foundations and through that strategy we are building a collective capacity to support and challenge schools and colleges, within the Trust today and for future partners.

The time is now, the time is right to enter into a conversation with us.
