TRC CELEBRATES STUDENTS AT AWARDS CEREMONY

Thomas Rotherham College was delighted to bring back their Celebration Awards Evening on 5th January, welcoming back students from the class of 2022, who were joined by their families at the ceremony.

The audience was treated to several incredible performances from current Music students, Melody Zahedipour and Jade Bath singing Slipping Through My Fingers, Never Enough, Titanium and A Million Dreams.

College Principal, Joel Wirth, welcomed back former students before introducing guest speaker, Rob Lock, himself a former student of TRC who has had a wonderfully interesting journey having

worked as a washer-up in Paris, a European Tours guide, a photo-journalist for thirty years and now, after 35 years, a published author.

Rob congratulated students on their achievements and inspired them to continue in their efforts for future success by dreaming big and not letting dreams die.

A wide range of prizes were awarded to the 2022 leavers for all round academic excellence: Overall Progress Award, Tutor Award, Highest Achievers and Subject Awards.

It was a wonderful evening and we wish the Class of 2022 continued success.
